Logan + Rachel

I joined a Wedding Styled Shoot over the weekend in Charlevoix, Michigan at Castle Farms. This beautiful castle gave me so much elegant moody vibes. It is a gorgeous location for a wedding or other events!

The models Logan and Rachel did a wonderful job modeling for hours so that us photographers and videographers could get the perfect shot! They were more than happy to get back into the emotions of being in a wedding and being able to capture their love all over again.

Carly was the host who put this lovely shoot together, having an amazing team of vendors like Carriage House Florals and Heart Wedding Decor to bring this shoot together with beautiful floral arrangements and such rustic and boho decorations.

Recently, I have been making an effort to join many styled shoots this year so that I can not only get practice in, but connect with different vendors and creatives. I believe Community over competition and going to styled shoots definitely puts you in a supportive and creative environment that is more upbuilding rather than competitive. My aim is also to constantly work towards focusing on photographing couples and weddings, joining these styled shoots gives me the opportunity to build a portfolio that targets the audience I want to capture!
